Role Has Trumbower Focused on the Future
Since joining BWK in September, Trumbower has been and will continue to oversee and manage the company’s full enterprise. Additionally, he will work closely with shareholders on the development of a strategic plan to determine a prospective course for the firm.
Together, Trumbower and his Board of Directors will focus on improvements and advancements to benefit BWK on every level. “Growth that provides more opportunities for clients and our team members will be a key component of our future plans,” he said.
Extensive Experience, Education, and Certification
Prior to joining BWK, Trumbower worked in a Big 4 accounting firm and spent 10 years in corporate development leadership roles across a variety of industries, including architecture, engineering, construction, real estate, financial services, information technology, and more. He was CFO of a $4.5 billion banking group and has eight years of COO/CFO experience in professional service firms, including five years at a regional CPA and consulting firm.
In addition to receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of St. Thomas, Trumbower holds a host of distinguished designations. He has earned licenses as:
- Certified Public Accountant
- Certified Management Accountant
- Certified Valuation Analyst
- Certified Mergers and Acquisitions Advisor
He is also Dale Carnegie Training certified.
Along with his many certifications, Trumbower has expertise in Entrepreneurial Operating System integration, Profit and Loss responsibilities, and strategic planning and alliances. He is also proficient in all aspects of the mergers and acquisition process.
As Past President of Financial Executives International (FEI), Trumbower received the Chapter of the Year Award for two consecutive years. Currently, he is a member of the FEI Board of Directors, Private Directors Association®, and the Plymouth Civic League.
